Gorgeous weather in Maine

We're in Ogunquit, ME on a "working vacation" - editing I Invite the Children to Come Forward, a collection of 325 children's stories from Shirley's and my ministry at the Guilford Church, 1978-1997. It's quite a tome (425pp.) and editing it is an amazing task. But we're enjoying it, with breaks for walks on the beach or the Marginal Way in 80-degree weather. Fabulous! (But also worrisome - what does this weather mean and what price will be exacted for it from vegetation and animals, not mention humans?)

Yes, we're home

Sorry to leave my blog readers on the road somewhere after Geneva, NY! We are home in Vermont, we've had a blast of winter since returning, but today it's in the high 50s. It was perfect weather for clearing the snow off the deck. We just had a Hallowell sing and now we're headed to Staples for some folders. Saturday is a Rehearsal Retreat for the Dummerston Church Choir. Jim and Mary are coming for the weekend. I'm preaching Sunday in the little town of Windham, VT. Sunday afternoon I'm presenting a five-year strategic plan to the Executive Committee of the Blanche Moyse Chorale. And then a rehearsal of Brahms' Liebeslieder Waltzer, which we are performing April 12-13. A full time!
